| Have some fun while supporting a worthwhile cause! Be the Life of the Party Fundraiser to Honour Alice Forestell. The New Tecumseth and Area Arts Council needs your support. The Arts Council has pledged to raise $25 000 for the opportunity to name the third floor studio and gallery spaces in the Gibson Centre 'Alice's Attic', in honour of Alice Forestell of Tottenham and her contribution to the Arts. Alice introduced hundreds of people, young and old, to drawing and painting. A fundraising event called 'Be the Life of the Party' is planned for September, October and November. It is a continuous series of parties (any kind, anywhere) which get smaller and smaller as our dollars grow and grow... all for a $5 donation towards Alice's Attic. It is a wonderful opportunity to get together with friends while supporting this worthwhile endeavour. For more information on how you can be a part of this initiative, please contact Nancy Williams 705- 435-7720 or the NTAAC office 705-435-2378 |
